Day 31 – Final Day…Wow I’ve Made It :-)

      13 Comments on Day 31 – Final Day…Wow I’ve Made It :-)

Hi all and welcome to the final day of my Personal Blog Cheering CrowdChallenge………….This is it I’ve finally done it, 31 posts in 31 days, and all of them live, none pre-written. This is going to be a short post as I am due at work at midday 🙁

I feel really proud of myself at the minute, when I first decided to do this challenge and posted it on Facebook I got a number of different comments from “go for it” to ” It’ll be difficult and challenging” and shall I tell you what……… has been very difficult and very challenging but……..I was determined to see it through to the bitter end. There were days when I thought nah….can’t be bothered today, but something inside me said “you must go on” and I also think that because I’d actually put it on Facebook and people had seen it that I had to complete it…………………….

So I think that proves one thing if your going to do something tell everybody you can, then you become answerable for your acts or omissions……….If you’re planning goals, don’t just write them down for just you to see post them on Facebook or other Social Networking sites, tell family or friends, then you become accountable and it spurs you on to complete them.

In the next few days I’m going to post a review of my Blog Challenge with  a run down of what I have discovered while doing it. But I’m going to finish now because I’m at work soon for what is expected to be a very busy 12 hour shift. So I’d just like to say a very Happy and Prosperous New Year to everyone who reads this post……………and set your goals for 2013, write them down and put them out for the world to see 🙂

    Hi Terry well done.
Sure your relieved, whats your next step, another course perhaps.
Have to say your blog is looking fantastic, can I ask where you got the theme from and also the video series, looks fantastic.
Can I add your blog onto my Cool blogs list

    1. Terry Weatherill

      Hi Dave
The theme is Flexibility 3 used by a lot of John Thornhill’s coaching students, myself included. The video series is from a membership site I belong to run by Liz Tomey, I have PLR to it so am able to sell it or give it away. I would love you to add my site to your cool list of blogs and I’ll do the same with yours 🙂

    Hi Terry,

Good one mate. Well done. Don’t know if I could do a 31 day challenge. Be stuck after Day 1…lol. What’s next on the agenda?
    Have a Happy & Prosperous 2013.

    Hi Terry,

    Congratulations on completing the challenge.

I think you’re absolutely right about letting others know about your goals. The power of accountability is underrated, especially at this time of year when we’re often thinking of starting something like a diet or other form of improvement, but overlook the challenge of keeping the momentum going beyond a few weeks.

Looking forward to reading what else you have discovered from this challenge.

All the best for the New Year,

    Hey Terry,
Congrats on sticking to your challenge! In addition to your blogging accomplishment, you’ve created a great habit – Sticking to your guns.
All the best for a great 2013

    Hey Terry,

Massive congratulations on your 31 day achievement.

It will be interesting to read about what you’ve learnt on your journey and how you can take it forward in building your blog further.

In my opinion this was a big challenge. I’ve had my blog ‘live’ for six months now and it’s amazing in this time alone how many people have started and given up.

You shouted from the rooftops, made yourself accountable and had nowhere to hide, but you’ve come through the otherside after 31 days and I take my hat off to you. Nice one.

Here’s to your success in 2013.

    Well Done Terry,

Looks like you have been working head for 31 days. It is not mean feat to blog each day. I am attempting to do it myself.

I look forward to hearing from you the lessons that you have learnt.

    Keep in touch.

    Kind regards

    Hi Terry

The other good thing about blogging daily is that you ignore all the blockers and do that task first every day.

If you only have 30 minutes online you write that post rather than check your e-mail or get distracted with something else. The next challenging should be to write a pillar article once a week and keep up the networking with the fellow John Thornhill students.

    Hi Terry
Congratulations on completing the 31 days. I’ve just started on my own 30 day challenge. I’ve got lots going on in January so I’m not sure how wise it was to do it this month but I need to get into the habit of writing more so I’m going to give it a go. I look forward to reading about what you learned from doing it.

    Hey Terry,

Very well done on your 31 day challenge, this is such an achievement and not an easy one to do. Finding content is one of the hardest parts of a challenge like this. Blown away well done!!

I bet Google loves you this month lol.

    Congrats again.
